The following steps are the "next steps" once you receive your handheld and tune from Ortiz Performance.
**DO NOT PLUG THE HANDHELD INTO YOUR COMPUTER UNTIL AFTER BOTH PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.**
When you receive your SCT handheld and tune from Ortiz Performance, the first thing you will need to do is download the applicable SCT programs to your Windows-based PC.
The latest version of each program can be downloaded directly from the Derive/SCT website:
You will need to download and install BOTH Device Updater and LiveLink Gen-II prior to plugging your handheld into the computer.
**DO NOT PLUG THE HANDHELD INTO YOUR COMPUTER UNTIL AFTER BOTH PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN INSTALLED.**
If by chance you did plug the handheld in prior to installing the program, you will need to manually install the drivers, as the drivers stored on the handheld are not current and will cause an error downloading the most up-to-date drivers from the SCT website.
